Hello everyone. So the reason I joined Model Mayhem is to expand my skill set as a photographer. I do real estate photography, portraiture, landscapes, and I have a business license. Most of the work I do is through my employer, but I love photography so much, I work on my own time as well.

I have photographed models in the past, however I wasn't taking it serious enough. Now I would like to change that, by slowing it down and making sure I get the right shot each time, instead of snapping 80 shots and hoping five or six turn out good.

I would like to do TFP to start out, and my boss has agreed to be present and coach me if he's available. So planning shoots will take some coordination in order for everyone to be available on the same day. He's very professional and knows what he's doing.


I enjoy shooting in abandoned places, parks, alleyways, sunlit windows, and whatever is aesthetically pleasing. My preferred time of day to shoot is around sunset, which gives soft complimentary light over the subject. Sometimes certain situations require a different time of day, depending on schedule and/or availability. This is just my personal preference, not necessarily mandatory.
