Art is my passion.  Photography is my principal medium.  After many years primarily in the portrait and wedding business I have left the daily studio work behind and now devote most of my time to creating images as art.

While I continue to make “straight” photographic images, much of my work is heavily manipulated to the point that I sometimes refer to the finished product as a “digital painting.” 

I am particularly interested in working with models who bring something unique in approach and appearance to a shoot.  As well as people willing to work within my concepts I also seek those who bring their own ideas and are willing to collaborate on a project.  I have no preconceived ideas about gender, age, body types or other characteristics that make the best subjects and tend to be more interested in individuals who might be considered non-traditional models.

I am open to TFCD shoots with people who provide an opportunity for me to create unique and unusual images.

In addition to work that is strictly my own I also document the activities of other artists, with an emphasis on performance art and music.

My work is frequently seen in galleries in and around the Kansas City area and has been shown nationally and internationally.
