I've been a serious amateur/professional  photographer for a long time now - since 1970. My work has included nearly every genre and in the entire spectrum from ultraviolet to infrared. Shooting outside the visual spectrum can be technically challenging, but the results are  worth it. Its a whole different way to look at people. In Ultraviolet everything becomes dark and sharper edged, skin acquires a unique sheen. In infrared everything is softer, shadows are less distinct, skin is softer and translucent .

I bring a different perspective to photography, I think, as I've been a nude figure model usually for drawing groups looking for a very different person to render. So I have experience on the other side of the lens (or easel). I listen. Listening begets communication, which in turn begets collaboration,  which results in better art, perhaps the best art.
