The first time I did a shoot, it was for a local photographer who contacted me. He needed a model to help build his portfolio. He saw something in me that I didnt because I never saw myself as "model material." I was hesitant at first but I felt a lot more comfortable after we met. I had no idea what to expect but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I also was in contact with the MUA throughout the process and she was sweet. She did a natural look for this shoot. It was an at home studio and he gave directions the whole time. I did feel a little awkward at times and had a hard time not giggling at the things he asked me to do. After it was all said and done, I really enjoyed it. He helped to build my confidence and now I know I'm beautiful.....so thank you David :)

I'd like to see what else is out there. I want to start building a portfolio and with no experience, I know my options are limited. I'm looking for local photographers willing to work with me and show me the ropes. I'm open to just about anything. I was supposed to do a mermaid shoot for this same photographer but I dont know what happened with that. I was really excited about being a mermaid :( So if any photographers envision a dark Auburn mermaid, I'm your girl.

I work two jobs right now, so making time and coming up with funds for the different shoots I've had requested is some what of a struggle on my end. If any photographers or models have any advice/suggestions on how to start being more assertive/involved, please message me and let me know. It would be greatly appreciated ❤️
