I love portraits, shooting and editing them as well. The process from beginning to end is really fun for me.

I live in McMinnville,Oregon, and have been studying photography for about a year and a half. My interest in photography started when I got a Panasonic GH5 to make music videos for my band (I play blues/rock in a power trio and have been playing shows for about almost 20 years).

Once I got my hands on a camera and started shooting and editing, I was hooked. I enjoy all types of photography including landscape, portraits, night/star photography, and really anything else.

My biggest influences so far have been Tony and Chelsea Northrup, Peter McKinnon, and
Peter Hurley. I recently upgraded to a Sony A7iii and currently have an 85 1.8 and a 35 1.4. My next lens will either be a 70-200 2.8 or the new Sony 200-600 (that would be fun for wildlife, for sure).

I’m learning Lightroom and Photoshop editing, including frequency separation and I’m at a point where I can get great results that look clean and crisp but not overly edited ( I think, anyway).


I’d like to get to a point where I can have some steady business doing portrait work, including weddings, couples, senior portraits, etc.

I’m currently revamping my band website to include photography stuff, so I don’t have an active website right now. That will change in the next week or two.
