About Me

I got my first camera at 12 years old and have been taking pictures regularly ever since. My first job in the field was as Ship's Photographer aboard the USC&GS Ship Oceanographer during it's nine-month Global Scientific Expedition circumnavigating the Earth from Jacksonville, Florida east to Seattle, Washington. I am a certified Rescue Diver and also do underwater photography. I recently returned to the USA from 9 years in Japan where I won several awards including first place in a glamour contest with over 700 entries sponsored by a major camera retailer. I'm now a freelance photographer and writer in the Monterey Bay area of California. I've recently been doing newspaper, theater performances, portraits, pinup, sports, nature, and auto racing; but I'm open to any genre and enjoy new experiences. I'm looking forward to connecting with the MM community to expand my portfolio and make new friends.
