Growing up in the small town of rockingham nc Sowill (also known as black logic or Alphonso Williams) made his name though the small towns' hip hop scene preforming small shows and selling mixtapes of his earlier work. Working with and using productions from his brother ACENOTEZ along with friends and local producers C-ROK and TOMMY GUNNZ he was able to put together numerous mixtapes and singles. Seeing rapping as mearly a hobby, recording music played second to his kids and family for years until he left NC for more stability for his family in the navy..


"if anything i love to record an album for the present year, almost like a diary to capture that years feelings and thoughts." He goes on to say, "ive seen ups and downs.. but my experiences keep me with a story to tell about how crazy life can be but to try not to always take it so seriously and live"


Familiar however aging, the golden old school hip hop era taught the young MC everything he knew. sporting punch lines and versatile versus in his earlier work he quickly changed with the times flashier more melodic hooks and verses.. incorporating then fusing his experiences, old school punch lines catchy hooks and unique voice into melodic and street productions the old school and new age lives on in this artists mix. Now in particular North Carolina, beset by low opportunity, lack of unity and exposure, is a state that could use a artist with a new voice a different style of delivery and a appreciation for the art to show theres more than meets the eye to those country roads.
