I usually select special projects and creative portraiture. I have been branching out into short film and music videos since 2018.
I am always interested in helping those new to modeling or acting to gain experience and expand their portfolio. I don't believe in 'trade for photos' and so I always pay models for their time and talent as well as provide quality digital images for their personal use.
I primarily photograph women and prefer classic beauty to trendy styles or fads. I attempt to capture the subject rather than use a model as an excuse for a erotic appeal. I believe all my models would be proud to show my images to their father or their children . You will never see a photo attached to my name where the woman's face is secondary to her breasts or crotch. A woman can look sexy without appearing as if posing for a gynecologist's textbook. Yes, I do shoot nudes when the assignment calls for it.
I view a beautiful woman as a work of art and treat her accordingly with my camera. My style is one of using light and shadow for the most dramatic and flattering affect. I rarely use flash and prefer studio lights. My studio has a very large wardrobe with a variety of dresses, gowns, costumes and accessories as well as wigs and hats. Every outfit, prop or jewelry item is from my wardrobe. My models enjoy dressing to become a fantasy character or persona outside of their normal life. I like to shoot on sets rather than a bland backdrop. I am proud of both my work and my reputation. I like to speak with models and actresses to see their real expressions and natural posing. If a model likes to work as if photography or acting is a cold, hard and impersonal job please do not contact me. It is much easier to work in a friendly relationship than employer and model. I have never in all my years hit on a model or actress but every time I photograph an impersonal model the photos look stiff and also as if she is a mannequin.
I have worked with model/Actress Kate More MM member #4409260 at the time. I has numerous photo shoots and used her in a short film that was edited into a music video for the Misfit Toys song "The Haunt". Their album "Closure" features Miss Moore on the CD cover and in all of the promotional photos and even a poster. Segments not used in the film have been edited into several other music videos. Her image appears in conjunction with the band so much that people unfamiliar with the band are led to believe she is a band member. I have signed contracts from each shoot we did together so rights to use her image are not in question but if she reads this I'd like her to know I desire to pay her additional monies as a thank you for her image use not anticipated at the time so please contact me.


I was asked about doing a shoot with film recently so I have placed some B&W photos here on MM to display my work as well as the beautiful model. When needed I shoot both 35mm and medium format film - and both color and black and white. I have a full darkroom to develop and print the photos. Film isn't quite dead but close.
I also restore photos and make prints in my darkroom of the restored images when someone needs a photograph too last 100 years or more.

I am available 7 days a week and late into the evenings to accommodate models with daytime obligations.
