Hi, I'm Andrew! I'm a DC based artist and illustrator, and am looking to work with models for figure drawing and other creative, visual works.

I work particularly in pen and ink as a comic book artist and cartoonist, and much of my work in other media flows from that. Normally, I describe my art as things that I find funny but that other people find creepy ... Surreal, unique, grotesque, beautiful, funny, sad. I enjoy working with models as a balance to purely imaginative work, and because I enjoy the collaborative process. Having a model requires them, in some part, to adopt an idea, adapt it to themselves, and then give it back to me, which I think can yield rich, and unexpected, results. I also work in more traditional figure drawing modes, with studies of the human form rendered in a variety of media. I'm always happy to discuss ideas and figure out ways to combine my talents with those of other artists and creative folks.
