Being creative doesn’t mean one creates. We can only manipulate what was already there capturing our metaphoric offspring for a time until some other force takes it into a new stage. This is why I love photography in a unique way, different from other creative outlets. Through my lens I can manipulate what I see to tell a story that never happened, or I can truthfully document one that did. As a photographer, I'm the author as well as the actor in that we put ourselves, our personality, our struggles, and our triumphs into what our cameras capture. We direct focus to where we want it. I don’t take this power lightly, nor too seriously, because really? I just like taking pictures of naked women.
