"Myself and Laura-Anne started a discussion about working together after having expressed a mutual appreciation for one another's portfolio of images. Once we had agreed on a suitable shoot date everything came together pretty quickly. I always embrace the different ideas that come as part of working with someone new and Laura-Anne had a very clear vision for the mood and style that she wanted to portray. She also had a distinct brief on ideas for a location. With this in mind I was able to set about finding somewhere suitable within the city. Laura-Anne was really proactive in building on our concept creating a mood board conveying thoughts on attire, poses and how we might utilise the environment. This provided a perfect blueprint for planning the theme from a fashion perspective. On the day of the shoot itself, we were fortunate to have been blessed with perfect weather. Upon my arrival at the location I was kindly greeted by Laura-Anne together with her husband who was on hand to look after our bags/equipment etc. whilst we set about the creative process of the shoot Laura-Anne is extremely well organised and had not only arrived early to further scope the location but also had a plan for the fundamental images she wanted to capture. As the shoot progressed, in between costume changes we regularly reviewed what had been captured. When we were happy with what we had, we retreated to a nearby coffee shop for drinks. As well as enjoying a perfect professional shoot, I had a wonderful time in the company of Laura-Anne and her husband. We created fantastic images which were edited within a week of the two promised!
