If photography is the art world’s visual mode of documentation, My work is one of the most authentic of this form, demanding to be dealt with as something more than any traditional definition of the art can imply. In short, my photography is a story-teller. My work captures those images which collectively itemize an indulgent look in the very narrative of life, beautiful, sexy and emotion which is common among us, telling a robust story, frame-by-frame, and within each print. Be it genuine, or surreal, erotic, sexy edgy or romantic, utilizing popular styles and subjects, or those of antiquity, my photography has found a way to take focus, leading viewers into a world where words won’t suffice, and where we transcend the usual limitations of sight, fully engaging the indulgent look imagination. One particular fan is noted to have said that when he sees my work, he feels as though he “experiences his own presence there, feeling each work’s joy, beauty, sexy or fascination”.
While hugely complimentary, my methods are well practiced, based on an understanding of old school negatives, light and dark contrast, chemical, and paper married to the in-depth technical digital expertise associated with the long-term experience as a news videographer, editor and engineer. The combination provides the viewer with a Indulgent Look wonderfully artistic journey not to be forgotten.
