Tash Damjanovic, a Toronto-based fine art photographer, has spent 25 years focusing on creating abstract, painter-like images. These works emanate from a deeply held belief that absolutely everything carries within it the potential to be beautiful. She works with well known designers on projects such as the Princess Margaret Lottery Showhome, National Homeshow, and others. Her works have been exhibited in numerous shows and appear in private collections across Canada, US, South America & Europe.
My figurative work is a meditation on the transformative power of light, perspective & the viewer’s own imagination in creating a diverse set of visually stunning images inspired by the human figure. The experience of these works takes place on the edge between real and imagined, human and industrial, vulnerable and unbreakable. The result is a delightful visual symphony of tones & forms that cultivate a sense of mystery, and leave room for a fresh interpretation each time you see them.
