Why did I chose photography?

Because I simply could not live anything else. I literally think in photographs. I get overly excited about light quality. Beautiful colors make my heart sing. I hunt for the interplay of shadows and light. I use my phone way more for taking photographs than ever I do for talking or texting. Friends will tell you that I often fall behind on a group adventure because I can’t help setting up and capturing the perfect shot.

I am absolutely fascinated by photography and the way that the camera can be manipulated to capture light in a certain way to create a stunning image.

I am also captivated by stories. Some of my happiest memories are of sitting with my grandparents as they reminisce old times aloud.

The combination of stories and photography made me fall naturally into experiential photography, a new genre of photography that fully encourages the natural moments occurring between the people in the scene while simultaneously creating a fine art experience.
