I am a Glasgow based photographer with a wealth of experience across a wide spectrum of genres. Sport, news, features, portraiture, PR, commercial and marketing - I have a 25-year catalogue of national newspaper award wining imagery (from my days as a student to being a full time professional photographer) that's testament to my eye for detail and ability to work in the most demanding of environments.

I have been lucky to work for some of the biggest media organisations in the country (as staff and freelance photographer) covering prestigious events. I've worked all over the world and had images in every major newspaper in the country; in fact had two images in the New York Times, London Times and even the Evening Times on the same day. I spend most of my time photographing sports assignments for agencies, newspapers and sports organisations, corporate photography for Banks and Accountancy firms, etc, as well as PR for a number of companies via a major agency I'm on retainer for. Saying that, none of this challenges me or excites me about being a photographer.

In my formative years I worked for a magazine house as both picture editor and chief photographer and loved shooting stylised features. I love collaborating with someone, knocking ideas about and ending up with something special. I want to place no bounds to my photography, therefore it's my desire to use this site to do something that little bit different from my day to day to make me feel like a creative again. Every day is a school day and I'm still learning!
