Hi I am Mikel! I enjoy expressing my creativity through my photography. I have tried many types of photography including landscape, wildlife, culinary, urban, fashion, portrait, astro and I have deep appreciation for each one, but I find that the more intriguing images are those that can integrate multiple themes into one cohesive scene. I think working with models adds another element, under the right circumstances a model can reveal pure emotion completely elevating an image. I have lots of ideas that I want to experiment with like night and fine art photography. The most important thing for me when it comes to working with models is creating a professional, comfortable environment, so they can feel relaxed enhancing my opportunity to capture those split moments of raw emotion. A little about me, I am born and raised in San Diego; I love the outdoors; I am a civil engineering major at SDSU, I have three dogs and a snake, and I am learning how to play the ukulele and the guitar.
