Having been a hobbyist photographer for many years I decided I wanted to improve my skills. A number of years ago I joined a local photographic society. Here I was able to enter society competitions and hear feedback from judges on not only my own photos but also on other entries. This I felt would help raise the standard of my work and lead to improving photographic skills.
I take an interest in many genres of photography

Though no longer the case, I have had the privilege of operating my own studio. This gave me a good insight for portrait/model photography. Due to having other full time employment, I have since closed the studio.

This allows me to focus on outdoor shoots and use other studios thereby giving more variation in my work.
