I’m Francesca—a student of politics and economics, a photographer, and avid recipe-experimenter. I’ve spent the great majority of my life understanding my passion in life: simply helping others. From designing safety net policies for the low-income class to “accidentally making too much food” and needing to give some away to taking your photograph so you can see how truly beautiful you are, I’m down for it.

My friends describe me as hard-working, that “mom-friend”, and always ready to lend a shoulder to lean on (I’m quoting directly, I swear!). My partner, on the other hand, describes me as a huge nerd who knows far too much about Marvel, musical theatre, and any learning materials I can get my hands on.

I started photography when I was 18 after receiving a DSLR camera for my high-school graduation (the same camera I still shoot on). I started in landscape photography before transitioning to portraiture and fine art and now boudoir.

I decided to pursue boudoir after experiencing its magic myself. At 20, I suffered a near-death experience that had me feeling completely betrayed by my own body—a feeling I tried to combat by self-portraiture. I didn’t know it at the time but I was essentially dabbling in what I now know to be boudoir. I decided that the way it changed my outlook on my own body and confidence was not something I wanted to keep secret but that I had to share so I began learning and practicing boudoir photography so I could offer the experience to anyone who wants it.

I strongly believe that self-love and self-actualization are cornerstones in happiness. Do something for you because you want to.

I still photograph portraits, events, and fine art concepts whenever I the opportunity presents itself. Photography is my happy place—boudoir is just the favorite child.
