Taylor Byers is a freelance makeup artist living in Toronto.
After graduating from the University of Guelph with a Sociology degree, Taylor quickly realized that makeup was her passion - she knew without a doubt in her mind that she had to pursue makeup as a career. With this conviction firmly in place Taylor packed up her life and moved to Toronto where she would spend several years assisting established artists throughout the city.
After landing a position with M.A.C Cosmetics Taylor continued to hone her skills while setting her eyes on the film industry. Wanting to get as much experience and exposure as possible, she worked her way onto a countless number of feature film sets.
Taylor has worked with MTV, Much Music and has been involved with several Corporate Videos that were shot in Toronto.
Makeup remains a central part of Taylor’s life and she is well aware of the potential for her craft – applied to anyone makeup can completely alter one’s personality, leaving them feeling as if they have been transformed. In other words, it’s pure magic.
