Welp, here goes nothing.

Some people know this about me, but many people don't. I remember the exact moment that I went to war against my body, I was in 5th grade. Two long decades of obsessing about my weight, appearance, and self-image. There are no photos of me in a bikini prior to 2018, which was the first year that I owned one and would actually wear it without a tanktop. Except the year I was 5 months pregnant and had an excuse not to look the way I felt was acceptable.

It's 2021, and I have finally become a responsible owner of a scale. Honestly, I don't even weigh myself somedays. Seems like nothing to some people, but it required a lot of work for me to get here.
