Now being the young man that shoots weddings, the mayor's masked balls, car shows, and countless projects. It’s funny to think back on how that this whole photography journey accidentally started in my senior year of high school. My friend asked me to act like a photographer to get a girl.

In the beginning I use to make silly YouTube videos on my phone and just post them to make my classmates laugh. Hoping that maybe one day we could become big YouTube stars. Here’s where it gets interesting. One day a friend gives me a call after my parents brought me my first camera and says ”Hey Chris, what are you doing right now?” My response ”Nothing. What up?” At the time I didn’t know that this would be the question that would shape my future. He continues, “Ummm….. I just met these girls right? and I told them I’m a model and that I have a photo shoot later. So I need you to help your boy out and be my photographer? Oh and I said that you are professional. So can you make it look like you know what you are doing?” When I tell you I burst out laughing! I just never thought he would come up with a pick-up like that! Especially since he’s never modeled a day in his life. But being the friend wanted to see him crash and burn. I told him this is too good to miss.

Now that it was time to shoot and there was so much excitement in the air, as I watched my friend pull up. It was about 6 pm on a beautiful summer day with a golden sky, and I knew whats about to happen next was going be such a spectacle to witness. With the combination of my friends new want-a-be model ego and my lack of a clue to what you do with camera. This could only make for an horrible time for my friend’s mission. A few moments later we begin the shoot and when I tell you it was bad... IT Was Bad! Like it was scene from Dumb & Dumber. I know the girls had to have figure out quickly that this was all just a show; but I guess they thought it was funny to see these guys trying to impress them. So they went along with it. The funny thing that ended up happening was, even though we were making a fool of ourselves. The amount of fun we all were having piqued my photography interest. Even with the embarrassment that we were facing. Something with in me clicked.

After that shoot photography had started becoming an obsession. Something I began to do everyday, something I began to research all the time, to eventually finding a mentor that took me under his wings. Showing me the in and outs of everything. Then only a year later shooting The UNCF Mayor Masked Ball, a few weddings, and shooting with models. Just to think everything started from being asked by my friend to take some random photos to impress a girl. Then a few years later launching this website telling you all about how all this started... So lets capture some moments together and share some of our funny moments in life together.

My friend did get the girl and she loved how much he was trying to impress her.
