A Sicilian, 58, Antonio has always been passionate about photography. Since his early days he had always tried to reproduce the human figure in all its natural beauty. He began with sketching while trying to imitate the images of great Marvel Comics artists, like John Romita and John Buscema; later as a photographer, inspired by great photographers of the 70s, like David Hamilton and Helmut Newton.
He started with a Polaroid given to him by his father at the age of 12 and then working with the film. He still owns the Yashica fx3 super 2000 bought in those times and the Zeiss lenses taken from his older brother, who owned a splendid Contax.
In this digital age he uses Fuji cameras and equipment. In 2016 he collaborated with the writer Stefania Nibbi tp write the book The Long Winter and other stories by providing photos for the cover and 13 stories.
After taking part in several workshops with photographers like Sean Archer and Dan Hecho, he has recently conducted several glamour and artistic nude workshops in Sicily and Malta.
Many of his photos have been selected and exhibited in different exhibitions wherein was a finalist and winner of several international competitions in the popular ViewBug website.
