Hello everyone ! My name is Gevonne (ja-von) or Gevy if thats easier . In my free time you can find me either playing video games or watching anime. Im a big fan of anything with supernatural or super powers, maybe because at heart I feel like some day it will happen! The best way of expression for me would definitely have to be putting different fits together and exploring various styles. I worked in retail for quite a while with companies such as Zara, GAP, J.Crew, Forever 21, James Perse, Marni and just recently Alexander McQueen. Through out my journey with these brands I really enjoyed learning and growing to love the merchandise and give the customers that inspiration and insight to showcase style they never knew they might have had. Im also no stranger to the dance and modeling world, I have been dancing from a young age and did a bit of modeling up until highschool. In elementary school I would lead dances that were apart of the school plays, which also got us to perform at the Apollo Theatre. I then went to Bronx Dance Theatre for about 2 years and performed Hip Hop, Jazz and a bit of Salsa. In my earlier years of modeling I was featured in a magazine, calendar, a documentary, and I was an extra in "The Manchurian Candidate". About 2 years ago Cartoon Network used an old modeling picture of younger me on a commercial and I couldn't help but think that was my sign to start back .
