I would like to meet local models to do artistic photoshoots that are whimsical, witty, and/or classic looking. I like both humor and quiet dignity in photographs. I steer away from hype and glamour, preferring to focus on real people in real places, folk photography.

I shoot film because that's what I learned with and I also love the zen patience of film photography as compared to the manic immediacy of digital. I typically will shoot square photographs on a 6x6 medium format camera. I took one photography class in high school, and other than that I am self-taught.

My goals as a photographer are purely the enjoyment of the process and the resulting images. I have made a living as a photographer in the past, but now I shoot for the artistry and connectedness of it and have other work to pay the bills. I consider paying jobs, but don't work for the sole purpose of selling things or marketing.

I'm usually a hell of a lot funnier than this when I write, but I didn't want to draw attention from the MM dipshit-detector and get myself banned.
