I think modeling is an amazing opportunity to promote different body types. People often forget that no even if everyone ate and exercised the exact same, we would all still look different. So, modeling is important to me not only because it's a great way to self express, but because I can show people that you don't have to look like someone else to be beautiful. There's often a stereotype with modeling that you have to be thin to be successful. This may have been true in the past, but I believe we are changing this narrative over time. And with each person that decides to model, we are all proving that different body types do exist, and that its a normal thing.
I have also been quite self conscious (like many other people) about how I look, and would love to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I want to prove to myself that self confidence is all I need in order to see the beauty I hold.
