I'm a portrait, music, and fashion photographer living in the Valley of Los Angeles. In regard to fashion, I work with the alternative/DIY scenes that are based out of different social scenes in the city, primarily those centered in Hollywood and DTLA. My style is typically flash heavy but I'll opt for natural lighting depending on the rooms and the various colors/textures situated. My series "At Home with Jon" is a large collection of portraiture of fellow creative peers in Los Angeles and extended areas—straight from their homes of varying lighting and decoration. It is a test on both making sure to predominately feature my subject as flattering as I know they are, and envisioning their placement within their sacred homes to bring forth their personality and story.

My series is also a Featured Space on the VSCO app. VSCO had reached out to put a series forth after much attention and growth in their online community. I opted for my already established photo series and now I'm able to push my friends and peers to a global million+ audience.

Musicians and their labels have collaborated with me. Most recently I had shot artist Fashion Club for Junior High The Magazine. My photographs of Faetooth and Polartropica have been featured on sites like CLASH and Decibel. I shot the EP cover art and promotional photos for CARR's "TV Boyfriends", her last project for Pack Records before signing with Pete Wentz' label DCD2. I'm currently working on a secret project with an unnamed artist for their debut that comes out 2023.

My current goal is to grow within the fields I'm already in. I just started with fashion this year, working with a team of MUA and hair as well, but my experiences are a far cry from what the typical job is. I'm hoping MM can connect me with other people I can grow alongside with or even just more experienced people willing to pass on knowledge.

Portraiture I'm pretty set on my style but I'd wanna shoot more studio work. I mainly shoot natural light, the only artifical lighting being my flash attached to my camera. It's a style I like and that I'm known for within my circles. However, being more versatile with traditional studio lighting would help. Can't do it without any models so someone willing to lend their time or looking for a job if my friends/clients need pieces photographed, that would be ideal.
