Mixed Martial Artist

Having a traditional West African dance background inspired me to take up the Afro-Brazilian martial arts disguised as dance -capoeira- and trained on and off for 9 years but during the 2020 lockdowns, I trained independently and the last 3 years of training unassisted allowed me to change from a formal technique and discipline into capoeira street fighting...Adapted and incorporated stick fighting, combat training mixing capoeira, Thai boxing and Filipino kali as part of my workout, training repertoire.

A native New Yorker and my mixture consists of Afro-Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, White/European ancestry and I workout regularly and my hobbies include digital creature designing and pen and ink drawing. Have print, commercial experience but a house fire accident changed my life ending my short-lived career and today as a burn survivor I am advocating that we shouldn't be embarrassed by our 3rd/2nd-degree scars rather showcase them.
