I am a contemporary italian painter, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence with a thesis on the origin of oil painting and its technical developments during the 15th and 16th centuries in Italy and Flanders. The study of the techniques of the Great Masters and their masterpieces, in particular of Van Eyck, Leonardo, Caravaggio, Rubens, Rembrandt and the Italian romantic painter Francesco Hayez, together with the admiration for the great painters of the "Return to Order", is at the basis of my rigorously figurative works. Portraits and female figures are my favorite subjects. I hope to find in this site models interested in posing for photos to be used as a reference for my paintings.
