Vladi was my grandfather's childhood nickname, as given to him by his Ukrainian mother. My grandfather gave me my first camera, when I was 9 years old. Throughout my life, I always saw him with a camera around his neck. He took photographs by the thousands, and on 35mm rolls of film, no less. Vladi painted beautiful landscapes, still life subjects, and just about anything else you can imagine, too. Through oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint, he shared his visions of the world, and I like to think, made it a better place.

Vladi took his last photographs and painted his final canvases in 2020. But his legacy and love for visual arts inspired me to be a professional creative and has now forever been cemented by the creation of Vladi Media, where we specialize in portraiture, videography, and social media content creation.

Though Vladi Media work has been published internationally and seen from coast to coast, and we've worked with high-end talent agencies, collaborated with amazingly talented dancers and performers, and shot in wildly varying locations; from beach piers to parking structures to shopping malls, Vladi Media exists to honor a man who's passion was to document and disseminate the beauty and wonder he saw in the world around him. That beauty exists today; within you, within your business, within your family.
