I am an experienced photographer based in Edinburgh specialising in portrait and gig photography. I am able to work either from a studio or in a location using portable lighting.

There are three ways that you can work with me;

Paid Work - This will apply where a model has reviewed my portfolio and wants to work with me to produce images in a similar style to my existing work. In this case my rates are £25 per hour including image processing time which will be charged at 5 edited images per hour. Any images on this basis will require a model release form to be signed which will provide the model with the rights to use the image for their own portfolio purposes. Any commercial use of images should be negotiated separately with me.

I pay you - In some circumstances, I may see a model who has produced some work that I would like to use as a basis for developing my own ideas. If I don't believe that I can add to your portfolio then I will contact you and negotiate the terms of work and appropriate rate.

TFCD - The purpose of TFCD is for ALL parties to gain creatively from the process. I need to be sure that all the parties working together on a TFCD shoot are going to produce the required output. Therefore, if you have not worked with me before then I will insist on a face to face creative meeting where we can discuss and agree the output that we are looking to obtain which will determine if the shoot takes place on a TFCD basis. Any TFCD shoot will require a Model Release form to be signed which will grant full ownership of images to me as a photographer and the model will have rights to use the image for portfolio purposes only.

I do not expect to pay travelling expenses for models on TFCD shoots, we each have expenses and it is not fair or equitable for one party to be recompensed more than the other when the purpose of the shoot is collectively creative.
