I’m Hal Sinden, Managing Director of Eulogy Media Ltd. & frontman of talanas - a London-based progressive metal act. I am an ex-model, actor & musician now returning to the film industry & occasionally creating photography stills.

Trained originally as an actor at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts and raised by a theatrical family, my first professional engagement on a feature film was at the age of 12 as a floor runner on 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood' in 1992 and from then on worked in varied camera & production roles for directors such as Christopher Hampton, Richard [Lord] Attenborough, Gerry Lively, Terence Ryan & Hansjörg Thurn among others, contributing to the formation of the Isle of Man Film Commission in the late 1990s, Northern Ireland Screen's Paint Hall Studios in the 2000s, Shackleton Studios in the 2010s. I have also now been on the panel for the London Fetish Film Festival since its inception just before the first C-19 lockdown.

Having a spent a while concentrating mostly on music, with spates of acting, voiceover / audiobook work and modelling here and there ( modelmayhem - 'halsinden' ), my production company Eulogy Media Ltd. has an established & Covid PPE / H&S compliant crew working on a slate of shorts, features & music videos prepared to fill 2024.

My 2 most recent short films, 'Les Passions du Disciple' & 'Succubus à Distance', were premiered at the 'Glimpse of Kink' exhibition at the Bateman Street Gallery in Soho (London, UK) in the Summer of 2021, with the latter piece having won awards at festivals such as FilmZen, Nasty Frames & AIMAFF and being selected for Kalakari & Horror Lust Film Festival respectively. The music video created for death metal super-group Memoriam's song 'All is Lost' won an award from the Royal Society of Television & Motion Picture Awards, was a finalist at the Fear Faire Film Festival and gained selection at Europe Music Awards & UAIFF.

Eulogy Media Ltd. specialises in low light setups, using predominantly vintage / antique lenses and heavy filtering to present a dark, brooding and often gothic textures. While we certainly don't abandon modern / present day realism entirely, it would seem that we are at our best when shooting in period setups.

Our goal on this platform is to work with new & established talent on predominantly moving image / video projects, from which we can easily extract high resolution stills for portfolios as required.
