After years of shooting purely for fun, I decided to start Smoot Photography 13 years ago now.  I have been very successful shooting wedding, commercial, portrait, product, and other event photography and I've also dabbled in the modeling scene along the way! 

I'm very flexible and enjoy shooting many styles of photographs depending on what my clients need.  I hope to find more models and MUAs to work with, and learn a thing or two from other photographers on this site as well.  I'm always excited to work with creative people with fresh ideas.

I have only ever hired models when one of my paying client's shoots required a model... and in this case I will always either post a casting call, or contact someone in my network directly. I simply do not have it in my budget to hire models for my portfolio work. Thanks for understanding!**
