I have enjoyed working with photographers who still look for the "one button fixes all" approach to photo retouching. There have been those that believe that Photoshop can fix anything. They give me a photo that's devoid of any light and say, "Fix it!"

I enjoy taking a photograph and enhancing the photographer's vision. My personal taste is to avoid excess glamour techniques unless the client requests it. I prefer a look that appears natural. Sometimes body sculpting is requested as well as a subtle nose job. Those projects are fun because of the challenge to make it appear natural.

My goal is to continue to improve my skills at all times. I consider myself a perpetual student. To suggest that I am an expert at anything would suggest that I have reached the pinnacle of knowledge. What true artist can really make that claim?

One photographer gave me an image and when I was done with it, he stared at it for some time. Never said a word. He just stared at her eyes. That was a great compliment.
