I've been taking photos (mainly travel and later on gigs) ever since I was twelve and it's always been a big passion of mine. It wasn't until 2003 though that I thought it was time for me to follow my dreams and become a professional photographer.

I went to the Dutch School Of Photography in Amsterdam to learn the things I thought were missing. At first I wanted to major in architecture and landscape photography, as this was what I'd been doing for a long time and thought I was good at.

However, soon I found out that I had a thing with shooting people in a one-on-one situation as well and that I loved the interaction during photo shoots. So I decided to major in portrait and fashion photography as I'm always looking for challenges.

I still shoot travel and concerts when I have the chance, as you can see in my portfolio on my website. I need the variety to prevent myself from getting bored and mainly see these two areas of my work as a hobby.
