The Atlanta Rainbow Crosswalks will be a non profit organization, with our mission being; To advance the awareness of diversity and equality through public art and community outreach.

Situated in the heart of Midtown, Atlanta at 10th St. & Piedmont Ave., this intersection and its crosswalks are at the epicenter of the LGBT community. Working with head of Atlanta city officials the proposal to paint the crosswalks rainbow colors was approved and will be made a permanent part of the City of Atlanta's public arts collection. Last approval meeting will be August 12, 2015. We will be joining a group of world class cities that have already implemented these crosswalks. These crosswalks have also demonstrated significant economic, social and cultural benefits. These are not just crosswalks, but symbols of acceptance, unity and tolerance that reminds us all of how diverse our community is; The crosswalks themselves will bring the advancement of unity and awareness of human rights through public art and the foundation built around, The Atlanta Rainbow Crosswalks will reach deep into the Atlanta community with plans of community outreach and interaction.
