I am a photographer living and working in Portland Oregon.  I am lost in the classic look of the nude photographed on film with old-style cameras.  I print all my work myself as hand-made platinum/palladium prints, a historic alternative process.  I am affected by its luminosity and gentle warmth, the detail even in the deepest shadows, the delicate whites. Those qualities of the platinum image are unique in the human experience. Landscapes and still-lifes glow from an inner light. Portraits and nudes look back at us, alive.  The print can hold my attention and soothe my soul.
