About Me

HuntsmanPhoto is a small portrait photography studio founded by photographer and marketer Justin B. Huntsman. We deliver uncomplicated color portraits of real people in-and-around Durham, NC USA.



While photography is not a full-time endeavor, I do approach the work with focus and sincerity.

My shooting style is driven by my values (honesty; integrity; straightforwardness; genuineness) and my personality (introspective, quiet, calm). As such, my best work happens during relaxed, one-on-one sessions. My process is natural and uncontrived.

I abhor artifice, pretense and veneer, and feel great affection towards Keats' metaphysical phrase "Beauty is truth, truth beauty."
