It turns out that some modern digital SLR cameras can "see" in infrared nearly as well as they "see" the visible spectrum of light.

I hacked one of my old digital SLRs so that it is a full time InfraRed camera.  Most photographers shoot images of trees, which is well enough.

But I can't leave well enough alone.

I shoot portraiture with my infrared camera.  And lately, I have been shooting heavily tattooed folks - the inks in the tattoos either don't show up - or take on entirely different looks when shot in infrared.

Working this way forces me to slow down and really "see".

I started this project as a way of pursuing my art while running my busy studio.

I am looking for models, couples, (who ever!) to help me with this project.
