About Me
I am a portrait and wedding photographer with my own business since 2010. I also shoot for a local studio, but I am trying to get into modeling. Some of my hobbies include sewing clothes, baking, Kung Fu, tennis, traveling and learning guitar.

Why Modeling
I have been interested in modeling since I was a teenager, but thought I would never have a chance because of my height. It’s still a dream of mine, and now I’m pursuing it. Maybe I’ll make it and maybe I won’t, but as long as I try I’ll be happy knowing I did my best and I won’t live with any regrets.

I am passionate about creating, and I see modeling as a form of art and a channel for self-expression. I like the idea of being able to show different sides of myself that I may not normally, or to even portray someone I’m not. Plus, I love to dress up.

Goals
I would eventually like to model with consistent work. Maybe for print and catalog because of my height, but I am open to the possibilities of other areas.

What I Want From This Site
I would like to meet talented, passionate people to play, create and network with. I want to collaborate with different photographers and stylists to experience a diverse style in vision and execution. I believe people can learn a lot from each other, and I love learning.

Experience
I have done a handful of photo shoots for fun and was a runway model for two local shows: Zebra Club’s 2011 Fashion Week show and the University of Washington’s 2013 Everybody Every Body fashion show.

What I Bring
I am very comfortable in front of the camera; I take direction well, and am good with facial expressions. Being a portrait and wedding photographer also makes me knowledgeable about the technical and creative aspects of a photo shoot. I understand that it doesn’t matter whether or not I like the outfit or makeup, what is important is working as a team to execute the vision of the photographer or art director.

Genres/Style
I really like vintage and glamor, but I would love to do more creative shoots and am open to various genres and styles. I love experimenting with hair and make up and trying new looks. I have curled my hair into an afro for fun before, and worn wigs for cosplay and photo shoots.

Traveling
For photo shoots in very far locations, some money for gas would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to travel out of state if my expenses are paid for.
