Photography is just the tip of the iceberg where CD Wilks is concerned. D. Chris Wilks, an Entrepreneur, Fashion Consultant, and overall Entertainment Impresario, he has the talent, tenacity, and ambitions of a modern day Lew Wasserman, Robert Evans, and Giancarlo Giammetti.
    Born to Jamaican parents, Artemus and Carmen, Daniel Christopher Wilks, along with his five siblings-- three brothers and two sisters, were raised in the multicultural Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York City. Here is where Chris’ diverse palette for all things commerce and arts were developed. Exposed to such entities as The Brooklyn Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Arts, The World Trade and World Financial Centers, and the world famous New York City Garment and Fashion Districts--- just to name a few!!!
    In addition to his early and secondary schooling in the New York City Public Schools, Chris continued to study Criminology and Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice where he received his Bachelor of Arts. Here Chris learned methods, ideas, and theories of sociology and psychology that greatly helped him to attain a better understanding of the human psyche and its role in individual learning and development. Consequently, he also learned to balance self-awareness with concern and consideration for society and community as a whole. Wilks has held a variety of positions throughout his career that range from management to executive levels in various industries of Fashion, Film and Television to Corporate Security and Restaurant Operations and Management.
    Chris is currently President & COO of the Sabre Mochachino Group, the parent company of Mochachino | Los Angeles | New York. A post he has grown into for the past 12 years. Chris was also a part of the award winning wardrobe team of the Dave Chappelle Show Season Two and the controversial “Lost Episodes”- Season Three. Wilks also spent a year and a half as a Visual Merchandiser for GAP INC. in New York City and Los Angeles. His vast knowledge and hunger to learn more about the film, television, and media industries, is the making of a future influential filmmaker and television producer.
