Cory Weaver is the production photographer for the San Francisco Opera, Portland Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas City Rep Theater and Bard College’s Summerscape Festival. He is a house production photographer for the Chicago Lyric Opera, Minnesota Opera, San Francisco Symphony, the 92nd Street Y, Sonoma State University’s Green Center and the Curtis Institute of Music.

Since 2001, Cory has photographed over 330 opera productions, over 40 theater productions and over 100 concerts & recitals.

Cory's work was used as art for the CDs of the recordings of Portland Opera's productions of Orphée and Galileo Galilei and his photos were also used in San Francisco Opera's HD DVD recordings of Moby Dick, Porgy & Bess, Show Boat, Mefistofele, I Capuleti E I Montecchi and Lucrezia Borgia. Most recently, his images were used as the art for the Liceu Opera Barcelona’s DVD recording of Norma.

His work has appeared in a number of distinguished publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Times (London), the Financial Times, Opera News Magazine, Opera Now Magazine, Das Opernglas, Opernwelt Magazine, Opera Canada Magazine, Rolling Stone, NY Post, The Washington Post and The Kansas City Star, to name a few.
