About Me

About Me
I started photography in November 1987 with black and white portraits and photojournalism and used the light painting technique and adapting it to nudes and objects for the first time in 1993 . Guided by my passion for mysterious moods, I use my performing arts background, which helped me to direct sophisticated shoots. My technique is still controversial, as working in complete darkness, yet creating an unparalleled wow factor.
Passionate about human expression in different lightings, exploring many facets and genres in photography, I discovered challenges with every new project presented . My interpretation of imaging is more towards dramatic, rather than realistic.
In 1995 I had the fantastic chance to exhibit the Light painting technique at the International Festival for Photography in Burghausen, Germany.
The principal theme was “Old Things in a New Vision” where I presented a nude with a female body in a different light. The need for a different lighting style in photography and an alternative approach to the human being per se, brought me a new understanding about the imagery of people. A projected light beam and the body becomes One. The photographer and the model are not seeing each other, only the light is the link producing the final image.
I enjoy working with various models special fashion, glamour, art nude projects, so likeminded models who want to experience this style are welcome. I can rarely do a TFP , but if you are keen,  please contact me for my rates.
In more recent years I experienced the joy of exhibiting throughout the world from Europe to Australia, experimenting day by day with new techniques and meeting fantastic people along this journey. Thanks for looking!
