I can't say I've been around since the 1800's to see the first photographic image... so I therefore can't say that I have had the opportunity to develop from then. What I can say is that

1) I have a passion for the art,

2) I didn't pick up a point and shoot last year and say "wooo, I'm a photographer because I bought a $400 DSLR 6 months later" (yes if you think I'm talking about you, I am)

3) I have a great respect for everyone who adds something to that final image (even Mr.Sun when talking about outdoor shoots, or Isaac Newton with the electricity he found for indoors),

4) I don't 'flake'... I like taking photos... if I'm not taking photos of you I will be taking photos of other models, or there is always nice scenery or some still life..

5) If you do message me for a shoot and I am interested... I will message you back... and I will shoot with you...
