About Me
As a model and artist, I have been quite active in our rich local arts community. I am happy to have continued that activity through my makeup artistry and direct shaping of the local art and fashion scene.
I received my esthetician license through Aveda. Because of my Aveda training, I am very exacting when it comes to the safety and sanitation of my tools and my cosmetics. Models will go home with a great image, not pinkeye. I have worked in spa environments applying wedding and special event makeup as well as in-store promotions working directly for cosmetic companies. I may also be found backstage at local runway shows and theaters. I am also booking local film projects. I have been lucky enough to attend demos and workshops with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Emmy-award winning and celebrity makeup artists. The lessons I have learned from them have been extremely valuable. In addition, I have also done costuming and mask-making, including my internship at Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater. As a visual artist and jewelry designer as well as a makeup artist, I come with a very strong background in design, sculpting and color-theory. Creative challenges are welcome, whether that challenge is the most subtle of male makeup, the most extreme fashion statement or anything in-between. As I have been both behind the scenes and in front of the cameras, canvases and stages, it gives me a unique perspective that allows me to understand and work with the needs of everyone involved in a project. On TFP: I very rarely do TFP. I do, however, have highly reduced testing rates on a limited basis. I am currently booking fashion, editorial, beauty, and art shoots. In order to test at reduced rates, the work must be a career-builder or benefit my book. I test up, meaning that I am looking for shots that will keep my book ever improving. The shoot must be fully planned including concept, lighting, model and a hair stylist. The model must provide a good canvas to paint on by having great skin. I am capable of hiding and camouflaging many flaws, and understand that no skin is "perfect" but the clearer the skin, the smoother and faster a shoot goes. Rates: Please feel free to contact me about my availability and rates. My rates are reasonable and fair. They ensure I have up-to-date training, with constant continuing education and professional workshops. It also keeps my product fresh, sanitary and high-quality. Budget artists cut corners, and that can be sloppy at best and hazardous at worst. Verified Credits (0)Worked with Lucinda Reilly? Share your experience and become verified! Add CreditsCredit Notes
