I've never been involved in a profession that did not involve scissors.  I was a professional costumer out of college, and for the last 8 years I have worked in a hair salon. 

My style ranges from everyday streetwear to urban high fashion to vintage styles.  I adore playing with color, whether it be subtle highlights to emphasize your natural color to a complete change of your look.  In the salon I pride myself on working with my clients to find the look that perfectly fits their lifestyle, as well as build their education on how to style their own hair, and understand their hair's needs (feed it, water it, throw it some lovin' every now and then)

I am currently employed at Nurtur the Salon in Upper Arlington, Ohio.  (nurturthesalon.com) Part of my goal with Model Mayhem is to build my in-salon clientele with people that love to rock fashionable looks, and introduce new clients to my current list of photographers and models.

My photography work consists mainly as a hairstylist and model with the Dolls of Evolved.  All of the photos in my portfolio are marked as to whether I did their color, cut, or styled their hair for the shoot (or all three)  Another goal of mine with MM is to build my photography portfolio.  I would love to work with models and photographers for hair concept shoots.
