Having recently retired from a career focused on the visual elements in the performing arts I have started to re-explore a journey started many years ago.  My interest is in the female form - usually in an abstracted way.  I'm interested in the interplay of light on the form; location, color, definition, texture, reflectivity.  My preference is to do little or no work in electronic manipulation, relying instead on the eye of the artist in finding the combination of compositional elements to make the statement.  I also work with fabrics, skin treatments and projections - as well as the occasional costume piece, prop or snake.

As I am at this moment just starting out I can only use models willing to work for portfolio shots.  I have done some head/portrait and costumed shots at the wish of the model.  I hope to be ready to start marketing gallery quality, limited edition, large scale, signed prints in the future as well as large single photographs on canvas able to be framed without glass.  I have studio space available in St. Paul and Mankato.  If any photo seems to attract you please feel free to leave a comment.  I also appreciate tags with more overall thoughts on my work.
