Hello, I'm Glen - Florimage is the name I photograph by.

I photograph models and have been doing this for a few years now.  I shoot on location and in the studio - natural light, studio light, any available light that it takes.  I am interested in the look and will build the shot to create it using the model(s), the location and the light to the best effect. I do my own retouching - as little or as much as the concept requires (and no more.)

TRADE vs PAID WORK: This is not my main job.  I shoot for fun/interest/challenge and less often as work.  If I find a concept interesting then I will invest my skills to bring it to life.  I look for others with similar levels of commitment.  I love to work with MUAs, Stylists, and a team to bring a concept to life and I do this as often as I can.  Sometimes I work alone with a model, sometimes with an assistant and sometimes with a team.  It may be a quick informal test shot or a larger production.  In all cases I work to get the best from the team.

If a concept interests me and I have the time then I often do Time for Print.  I place casting calls to find the best people and I also work with creatives I know to be good.  If it's your concept and it feels like work, it involves angel wings or train tracks then I would charge, ask for rates.

If you are an agency standard model or creative and you think you can work with me to enhance both of our portfolios then contact me immediately :-)  I don't pay models not because I don't want to but because I'm not getting paid myself. If I'm getting paid then you get paid.

MODELS: I enjoy working with models of all backgrounds but I do look for a level of basic professionalism that I know will make our shoot work well together.  Ideally the model will have a 'look' and knowledge/experience that can make the shoot run to awesome pretty quickly but, more than this I do like a model to have a dedication to a shoot so we both get the most from it.  By this I mean being committed by communicating and remaining contactable plus ensuring you look your best on the day.  With those basic things and expecting the same from me we should go pretty well.  Experience is not always essential but is always welcome, a good look is doubly welcome :-)

STYLES:  Fashion | Editorial | Portrait | Beauty |Commercial | Some lingerie            Occasional nude shots.  Basically whatever the concept requires.  I don't generally shoot alternative, tattoos etc but if the idea interests me I might.

I love to be challenged. I also appreciate a good sense of humour - not all shots need to be serious.  When I have the time I like to shoot.

I like Friend Requests but if there's no chance I will work with you then I may not always accept.  Random FRs with no explanatory message don't tell me of your interest and that you took the time to read my profile instead of randomly spamming every photographer you find (of course I know you wouldn't do that :-))
