All of the below applies - I haven't done any modeling since I've relocated to Portland despite interest from photographers and other artists, mostly because of graduate school. I've graduated now and have been kept very busy, so I am looking for paid shoots only at this time, unless the work of the photographer or the opportunity is absolutely exceptional. I am constantly impressed by a photograph's ability to turn the human form from something mundane and everyday to something uncanny. In modeling I seek a transformative experience, not only in the physical act of being a model, but in the end result of the work. I take a very close look at people's work before I make the decision to work with them.

I take my work and myself seriously, but I like to have fun. I don't compromise anything of myself or my politics in modeling - everything from poses, hair, and makeup has to represent not only the photographer but myself as well. Depending on my mood, I may have hair - underarm, bush, and leg hair - or I may be denuded of hair. If this is important to you, you can ask me specifics in your message.

I am willing to do most types of modeling if the fit seems right with the photographer, the concept, etc. I prefer that a potential photographer have an idea in mind of what kinds of projects we can work on together, but I am also up for discussion.

If I haven't worked with you before, I will most likely set up a meeting at a coffeehouse first just to talk about our respective work, our boundaries, and to get a feel for each other. I may also bring an escort to the shoot (discreet and unassuming- not someone who would interfere with the work in any way).
