My name is Dave Vnencak, thanks for visiting my profile. I've been interested in photography since the late '90s, and have grown from taking snapshots to hobbyist to professional since then. I shot my first paying gig in 2005, and ever since, I've striven to always improve my skills and techniques.

For many of the last few years, I have concentrated primarily on sports, photojournalism, and wildlife photography. Unfortunately, this rarely allowed me to truly be creative with my shots. Sports photos typically required capturing action, the triumph of winning, or the letdown of losing; leaving little room for me to be creative. Wildlife, for some reason, seems to completely ignore my requests to "stay there," "don't move," and "move away from behind that branch." Photojournalism was typically more about getting a shot that would sell than it was about being creative - though occasionally I was able to do both.

Working with a model allows me to get a shot out of my head and capture it, hopefully to look almost exactly like how I envisioned. Each model has something special about her, something unique, something intriguing, an inner as well as outer beauty, and I want to be able to capture that in a single frame.

I am generally interested only in TFCD arrangements at this time. I don't mind (and often even prefer) working with new models. I typically shoot outdoors in parks, though I am always looking to shoot anywhere interesting or that fits with whatever the theme of the shoot is.

Also, I don't send out blanket friend requests or spam everyone within a 200 mile radius of myself. If I have sent you a friend request, there's a reason; generally, because I feel you'd be a good fit for a shoot which is still being worked out in my mind. It's a form of organization on my part...
