My name is Daniela and I am a former celebrity PA turned Photojournalism graduate from Metro State.  Most of my published work is in Journalism.  I was fortunate to be part of the America 24/7 project and shot for the state of Hawaii and took the first ever published photo of the Wholphin.  (part whale part dolphin, only live on in captivity) I got to swim with it which was an amazing experience!  During that shoot I was filmed as an extra (playing a photographer) in the movie 50 first dates.  I played myself so it wasn't very hard. 

Now a days my stuff us all over the place.  I guess I am trying to find what I do best AND what I enjoy most and just pray those are the same thing!  I shoot model portraits, bodoir, pregnancy portraits, animals and may favorite which is couples.  I enjoy doing fashion too and am starting to build my book in that direction.  I have had a few picture published on the Playboy back page, US weekly and other really random places like that.  If you look at my tear sheets you would have no idea what direction I am going in!  lol

I think photos that are done with just the sheer enjoyment of the photographer doing it, is best.  And it is my experience, that that is when I feel I have the least to do with the outcome, feeling like one watching, instead of one "creating". 


UPDATE-I just posted the pics from my shoot with Nida.  She was kind enough to model some product for me for a new website.  Jo D did her makeup with an airbrush for an amazing result.  She looks so great she overshadowed the product!  Let me know what you think and be sure to go tell Nida and Jo D how talented they are!
